Africa Talks Business and Investment Forum is a business platform that connects African business leaders, entrepreneurs, and SMEs to their counterparts from across the continent and the Diaspora..

Taking advantage of Africa’s huge population of over 1.3 billion people and AFCFTA, ATBIF strongly believes Africa’s prosperity lies in it doing business with itself. This forum is designed to accelerate trade and investment activities in Africa with Africans on the continent and the diaspora as the drivers.

 ATBIF brings together service providers, entrepreneurs, HNIs, business executives, pension funds, financial regulators, private equity funds, venture capital funds, African development agencies, institutional investors, banks, hedge funds, financial consultants & advisors, technology providers, law firms, trade facilitators, accountants, fund managers, top government officials, captains of industry, and other stakeholders engaging in partnerships that will result to the acceleration of Africa’s economic development.

Aims and Objectives

  • In recognition of the fact that for Africa to genuinely develop, they need to be the drivers of their own economic growth. ATBIF major goal is to unite Africans on the continent and the diaspora for the common goal of developing Africa through mutually beneficial partnerships taking into consideration environmentally friendly and socially inclusive practices.
  • To encourage cross-border projects and initiatives that will improve partnerships and collaboration between African nations, facilitating trade and economic growth in both public and private partnerships taking advantage of AFCFTA.
  • To connect genuine foreign investors to African private sector drivers and government authorities in other to develop critical infrastructure in the continent. This will include transportation (roads, railways, airports), energy (electricity, renewable sources), innovation, technology and communication networks.
  • To develop local skills and expertise for African youth through training and education to ensure that infrastructure projects in the continent are managed and maintained effectively.
  • Work with African governments to create and implement policies that will be mutually beneficial to foreign investors and the continent.
